“When the house burns down, what do you do with the ashes?”

Friday May 27 at 8:00 pm and Saturday May 28 at 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm

The Forgiveness Project performed for three sold-out performances Memorial Day weekend, 2016.

Performed at Berger Park Cultural Center, 6205 N Sheridan Road, Chicago Illinois

The Forgiveness Project explores many layers of forgiveness in our lives. In tracking the forgiveness journeys of four real people, brought to life by professional actors in Erasing the Distance’s signature style, this theatrical event shines a light on unexpected emotional facets of forgiveness, or the choice not to forgive.

The performance gives voice to a diverse range of ages and perspectives. Whether grappling to forgive ourselves, our families, our partners, religious groups or flawed institutions, The Forgiveness Project interweaves threads of specificity to offer a common experience for this moment in time.
