That Night That Night

An exploration into the mental health impact of the criminal justice system on the lives of those it touches,That Night followed the story of Dana Holland—wrongfully incarcerated for over a decade—as he recounted the events leading to his conviction and his path toward exoneration.

Here is a portion of Dana’s story:

“When you sentenced to something like that, it was in the paper, ‘Got this, this animal, we got him’. I got a special privilege, since I got so much time. You on suicide watch. What have I got to lose?! I got life.”
