Finding Peace in This House (2012)

January 23, 24, 30 & 31, 2012

FINDING PEACE IN THIS HOUSE is a play of monologues that explores how a person’s “house” can represent many things—a terror-filled home, a body that abandons you, a haunting past, or even a literal prison. These powerful true stories feature six people struggling to find peace in their house…despite the shadows that lurk in the corners.

Finding Peace made its world premiere at the Chicago Cultural Center in June 2011, and was re-mounted for four nights in 2012 at the Center on Halsted. The show was created in partnership with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP).
